Last weekend we went to yet another Battle Road, this time in Avon Park. It is a 2 hour drive from the Pok\u00e9mon Fanboy HQ. It was a mostly pleasant drive down, it involved a lot of back roads and we saw some tiny towns that you just do not see anymore since no one lives in them and there is no reason to visit them. One word, scenic.<\/p>\n
Had a problem finding the place, I used Google Maps for directions and used the Street View to get an idea of the area. Well I did not see it so I clicked around and found the place, problem was when we got there it turned out the store had moved and I did not see the new place in Street View.<\/p>\n
So we called Kelly and she contacted the store, turns out we drove past it twice, whoops!<\/p>\n
The place was super small and cramped, nice place, just small. With it being June, it was hot, very hot.<\/p>\n
To make matters worse when we went to lunch I discovered that I had left the keys on the car dashboard. So no lunch for us, we walked over to a gas station and got some cokes and waited for AAA. They came but late, much later than the dispatcher said.<\/p>\n
Still, it was a good day, Faron took 1st in his division, second week in a row now.<\/p>\n
